10. Muse
Around The Shop

Muse Around The Shop: BLUE SKY THINKING (2016) was a collection of ‘products’ for sale, a display unit and promotional imagery and film. The project was contained within a temporary showroom at Edinburgh College of Art's 2016 degree show, and was a culmination of objects made during the final year of my undergraduate degree.

The collection was a pastiche of a museum shop, a category border where reproduced public museum objects become privatised commodities in a commercial setting. Products included porcelain and marble vessels, hand-made artist’s smocks and trousers, enamel badges, blankets, faux-cornicing, prints and fully screen-printed books of imagery and research.
